China – the world largest consumer market for dairy products by 2020 Nov.17 – China will become the largest consumer market for dairy products in the world with a turnover of more than 100 billion euros by 2020. In 2012, only 14 percent of the domestic consumption of dairy products was imported in China. By 2015 it is expected that the demand for imports will be greater than 33 percent higher, according to China statistics reporting.
